A few recent examples of volunteer opportunities are when IAVA teamed up with MTV on a 30 city national tour in the fall of 2008. IAVA gave out free tickets to individuals if they gathered signatures on the BRAVE (Bill of Rights for American Veterans) petition. Dozens of IAVA Supporters also helped out at the Veterans Day Parade in NYC in 2008.
